A grommet typically consists of two main parts: the barrel (or body), which is the cylindrical section that fits into the hole, and the flange (or rim), which is the wider edge that sits on the surface to hold the grommet in place. Some grommets also come with a washer that secures the grommet from the opposite side for extra stability.
