Dear Friends:
Labor Day weekend coming up! The traditional end of Summer, celebrated with cookouts, last days at the beach or mountains, and back to school. And soon, leaves turn to red and orange, weather gets a little nippy, and tailgate parties at football games.
Though our mailing address is in Manhattan Beach (where I started the biz 41 years ago on the proverbial kitchen table) we are now physically six miles inland in the city of Torrance.
And we spent the last week cheering on the Torrance Little League baseball team as they battled to win the annual Little League World Series; first time they have made it to the LLWS since 1959. These 12 year olds played their hearts out but unfortunately fell in an elimination bracket to Ohio, 4-2. But congratulations to them for their hard work, drive, poise, and making it this far.
Our new catalog is almost ready to go to the printer, to be mailed in middle of October at the latest. Be on the lookout for a whole bunch of truly exciting new ideas and concepts!
Tradeshows are back on and we will be in Chicago at NEOCON October 4-6, and New York's BDNY November 14-15. Please stop by and take a look; we think you'll be impressed!
