Spring is here! Our little flower bed out front is blooming and looking sassy, the sky is blue, a few (more) orders are coming in, and things seem to be looking up for us here, and indeed, for us all nationwide.
And - Breaking News -- being hip and "with it" we are considering accepting bitcoin from clients and paying suppliers with bitcoin.
But, unlike our good ol' greenbacks, the value of a bitcoin tends to fluctuate. For example, if you paid us in bitcoin for your Power & Communications unit, our popular PCS36A/USB in Satin Aluminum, priced at US$ 257, would cost you 88% more today than had you bought the same PCS unit January 1. Yes, that's right - bitcoin has risen 88% since the beginning of the year. Translated into hard dollars, your $ 257 PCS unit January 1 would be $484 May 1! And who knows what it would be November 1 -- $185? Or $999?
What do you think? Should we stick with Uncle Sam or venture out into cryptocurrencies? Are they the wave of the future? I'd like to hear your thoughts.
