Dear Friends:
Seems to me we say it every Labor Day – “where did the summer go?” Gone in a flash … each and every summer, too!
But one door closes and another door opens. Tuesday after Labor Day is the closing date for our annual Design Contest for furniture parts, hardware and accessories. 2019 will be our 34th annual competition. Opening the contest entries always brings wonderful surprises of amazing, incredible, fanciful, and very practical components we can all use.
The rules, such as they are, are on our website at mockett.com/contest. The CliffsNotes version is – a written explanation, a drawing, a model – all work. And if you’re a little late sending it in – no worries.
Only First Prize is awarded and an unlimited number of them; in the past there have been as many as four. First Prize is $ 1000 and a 5% royalty for 15 years.

BWTM! – But Wait There’s More! – Our Fall 2019 brochure is heading to the printer in September and will be mailed later this month or early October. Lotsa good stuff for office, residential and hospitality. We think you will like it!
