Dear Friends:
It was a pleasure to watch Colton Herta, the 19 year old IndyCar driver we have sponsored since he was 14 (when he moved to England to race as he couldn’t race in the USA until age 16) lead virtually every lap of the IndyCar finale at Monterey, CA Laguna Seca racetrack on September 22. Colton is certainly a star of the future – keep your eye on him!
In 2019 he won two (of 17) races and started from pole position three times. Wow. Impressive!
We’re big proponents of electrical components, as you know. Power to the desktop, power to your fingertips, power you control! The ‘you control’ are the keywords. You just cannot make up the following – A few weeks ago in Northern California, a Tesla-mounted policeman was giving chase to a speeder when – uh, oh, technology triumphed over justice – the Tesla started running out of juice, started slowing down, and the old-fashioned gasoline engine speeder just zoomed away. Take that, Elon Musk.
