Dear Friends:

A few years back, while driving in Carrera Panamericana with a scheduled hour rest stop at the tiny Mexican village of Chapa de Mota some 200 Miles north of Mexico City, we got the most unique request. “Would you buy our village an ambulance?”. We thought about it and did so a few months later.

Last October, Carrera stopped in Chapa de Mota and I asked if they needed anything else. ‘Yes’, came the reply, we need a van to drive Seniors to Toluca or Mexico City. There is only one bus per day now.

So Manuel found a good, used Hyundai that seats 8 and is in great shape. And Tuesday, April 23, Oscar Carrillo and I hosted the transfer ceremony. Representing the people was the mayor of the city and larger area, Leticia Zepeda Martinez. It was a very joyful ceremony, handing over the keys, followed by photos and meeting again some of the fine citizens of Chapa de Mota, followed, of course, by a big lunch!

Every little bit helps, even when you never thought of the needs. I encourage everyone to lend a hand to their neighbor, a friend, even call someone you had a falling out with. Be proactive! You cannot change the world but you can every day make a small difference. Imagine if all 4 billion of us did that! THAT would change the world!

Last Saturday in Paris our American team triumphed in the Jaguar I-Pace Series for electric racing cars, with Bryan Sellers winning from pole and leading every lap. Katherine Legge qualified 2nd, got tangled in a first lap crash, and ended up 10Th. Next race May 11 in Monaco and you can follow it @jaguarracing.

Trade show season is at its highest in May and June, with HD expo this month, and both Infocomm and NEOCON taking place in June.

Please stop by our booth!
