We hope you’re enjoying a wonderful Summer. Weather has been great here in SoCal and we’ve been taking advantage of shows at the Hollywood Bowl, beach time and BBQ’s. And this Saturday, August 3, we have a company night at Dodgers Stadium to see them play the Padres. Go Dodgers!
Last weekend Oscar Carrillo represented us in donating a passenger van to Chapa de Mota. You may remember we donated an ambulance to them a year or so ago. Now their needs are for a van to transport seniors to social services in Toluca, a 2 hour drive but 5 hours by local bus. The van was warmly received!
And we are pleased to say the Mockett-sponsored Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy cars driven by Bryan Sellers and Katherine Legge finished Third Overall (2 wins) and 5th overall (1 win), respectively, in the inaugural season of this world-wide series specifically for Jaguar I-Pace electric cars. The 20 race series started last December in Saudi Arabia, went to Asia, Europe and ended July 14 in New York. The Jaguar I-Pace street car will be available for sale in USA later in 2019, we understand. Fascinating concept to race first, then introduce… usually other way around.
