It was great to be back at HD Expo after a long three-year absence! As the leading tradeshow and conference for the hospitality design community, HD is a blend of practical and downright audacious elements. We always love to attend and not only show off our fine architectural hardware, but also to walk the aisles of the show and see what is on trend. It never disappoints.
If you were in attendance this year, you may have seen us at booth 3135. We felt as though we stood out amongst the sea of furniture and lighting and brought something different to the show. Being that the last time we attended this show was in 2019, things have changed a lot for us and for the world since then. It felt so good to be able to attend again and see how the hospi-tality design world has adapted.
Some of our hits at the show were our unique power solutions, especially our Wireless Chargers and their versatile applications. PCS120, which seems to be a showstopper everywhere we go these days, was a particular crowd favorite. Also standing out in the booth was our new line of Cast Iron Drawer Pulls.
Aside from our own offerings, we always love to take a walk around the show and see what up and coming trends are afoot.
This year we noticed a lot of smooth edges, whether it be on so-fas, outdoor elements, artwork, or lighting, they were everywhere.
Another thing that was hard to miss was the bold designs. It seems like the envelope was pushed so far that it’s off in the horizon and out of sight. We love to see it!
One more thing that we couldn’t help but admire was the attention to detail for outdoor living. Whether this was brought on by all the time spent outside over the last two years or not, we’re here for it. Bringing the indoors out and making it all about fun and relaxation. What could be better than that?
All in all, the show was a great success for us. We had a blast chatting with some old friends and introducing some new faces to our line. As always, we loved being back in the halls of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center and we can’t wait to be back next year!
