Staying up on the current trends is more important than ever for architects and designers, and we’re here to help you succeed! Equip yourself with the tools you need to tackle any design project. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) provides the course materials you’ll need to take your next project to new heights.

With our ever-changing environments in mind, AIA understands the implications of our adaptability and educates us on top trends and new technologies to transition into our new spaces as we are responsible for shaping the future of architecture for generations to come. AIA members must complete 18 Learning Units each year, which is the equivalent of 18 hours of continuing education, 12 of which focus on topics such as health, safety, and welfare.

The best part is you can pick and choose which courses interest you, making the learning experience personalized and fun. We have recently collaborated with Architectural Record, an official AIA registered provider, to offer courses for your enjoyment. We have two courses available now and we invite you to take a look.

Our first course discusses the Evolving Workplace Environment, which as you know is always in a constant state of refinement. In this course you’ll learn how technology is changing the landscape of our workflow and how acoustics influence collaborative and individual workspaces. You’ll also learn about the performance of wall and floor surfaces, how to accommodate the new mobile workforce, and how to incorporate designs that will promote more sanitation and health.

Our second course focuses on Innovative Interiors where we discuss innovation in interior design products and how they affect overall space design. The course also covers topics such as how substrate preparation and installation techniques can enhance functionality and longevity and how these principles can be applied to your own projects.
