Happy Labor Day weekend to one and all! Hope it was an excellent one for you and yours.
Our best good news is that our latest brochure will be in the mail before the end of September. It will be 60+ pages of new and creative components and, as always, very funny (to me, anyway) cartoons. Think you will like it.
Don’t forget – our 33rd Annual Design Competition closes “soon”. Please send in your concepts for amazing, new, stunning designs for furniture hardware, accessories and components. Send to us at [email protected] or mail to Design Contest Coordinator.
And we’re getting the Olds ready for the 31st Carrera Panamericana, the 7 day, 2500 mile romp from Oaxaca in southern Mexico to Durango up north. It is always a hoot and Mexicans love motor racing, love waving us through their villages, love greeting the cars when we stop for the night. Truly a great race. We’ve done I think 28-29 of the 31 in our 1954 Oldsmobile Super 88, “Olds in Nombre Solamente” (“Olds in Name Only”) and always look forward to this special week.
