Dear Friends:

Just returned from my 27th or 28th Carrera Panamericana, the 7 day 2500 mile rally from southern to northern Mexico, starting in lovely Oaxaca and ending in colonial Durango. Pleased to say we finished 4th of some 70 odd entries, so not all bad. Same finish as last year so we have a goal of top 3 next year. And forget all the dramatic TV news about Mexico. It is a wonderful place, full of culture and good food and warm, gracious people.

Here is a painting of the car on the course and under the blue skies of Mexico, painted by co-driver Manuel’s mom.

Our Carrera cars have been invited to be a support race at the Grand Prix of Mexico and we will be there, hoping to win it!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we have been developing many new components, a few table legs and Power and Communications Grommets. You can view them at Mockett.com.

And many thanks to all who sent shoes in response to our ‘Shoes for the Homeless’ campaign to help some of the 50,000 homeless in Los Angeles. We are most appreciative of all the fine donations.

Working on our next brochure, planned to be in the mail shortly after 1/1/19.

We hope all is well with you and yours. Our best for a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend

Cordially,

Douglas A.J. Mockett
