Dear Friends:
Wow! A week ago today Rita and I were at the Indy 500 weekend. The 500 mile race is always Sunday of Memorial Day weekend but the Friday race was for the support class called Indy Lights, where we sponsor Colton Herta. It was 40 laps of the famed 2 ½ mile oval, or 100 miles.
And what a race it was! You could literally throw a blanket over the top four cars all race long; yes, they were that close!
And at the end it was Colton taking the victory by literally less than a front wheel’s worth! Averaging – yes, averaging – 190+ miles an hour.
And here he is with the winner’s trophy, kneeling on the “yard of bricks” marking the start/finish line.
We’re exhibiting at INFOCOMM in Las Vegas, Wednesday June 6 through Thursday the 8th and showing our new electrical/communications concepts. This is a terrific show with really unusual, high tech gadgets.
Monday, June 11 through June 13 we’ll be sporting our products, old and a lot new, at NEOCON in Chicago, the biggest trade show of all for office furniture and related items. We’re on the 7th floor in booth 7-9030; please do stop by.
