How do we classify a "new" product? And when do we announce it? Is it when the design is in its infancy and a prototype has been made to satisfactory standards? Or once tooling is complete and production has begun? Or do we wait until the parts are in stock, on the shelves and ready to ship? We've learned that "new" can be a relative term and often a precarious one - sometimes when an exciting "new" idea catches fire and we just simply can't wait to announce it prematurely, there are unforeseen redesigns that significantly delay the release date. Then, by the time it's available in stock, it's hardly "new" anymore. So, to distinguish between what's NEW and currently available in stock versus what's NEW and at some stage of production between concept and completion, we have separated the two to eliminate any confusion.
